Andre Benjamin's Stone Mountain, Georgia Home

Born May 27, 1975 in Atlanta, Georgia, Andre Benjamin, aka "Andre 3000" - along with Antwan Patton, aka "Big Boi" make up of the highly-successful rap duo known as Outkast.

In 2003, Outkast released a double album entitled Speakerboxxx/The Love Below. Andre's album "The Love Below" offered more singing vocals in contrast to Big Boi's more rap-centered Speakerboxxx. "The Love Below" was responsible for the hits "Hey Ya!" and "Roses".

Andre 3000 has also landed numerous acting roles in movies such as Families, The Shield, Be Cool, Revolver, Four Brothers, and Idlewild.

Andre 3000 still maintains a home in the city of his birth; Atlanta, plus a second home located in Stone Mountain, Georgia.

Andre 3000 purchased his Atlanta home in 2002 for $775,000. The value of the home now is approximately $900,000. This home is located near the 18-hole North Fulton Golf Course which includes Chastain Memorial Park. Chastain Memorial Park offers nine tennis courts, a swimming pool, a basketball court, baseball fields and numerous picnic areas.

Andre 3000 purchased his scenic Stone Mountain, Georgia getaway in 1997 for just over $300,000. This home offers five bedrooms, four full bathrooms and one half bathroom, fireplace, plus an in-ground swimming pool. The home is now worth approximately $450,000.

Stone Mountain is located just a few miles east of Atlanta with a population of 7,145 according to the 2000 U.S. census.

Another bag of Skittles AndrĂ© 3000 unveiled his Benjamin BixbyMenswear Spring 2009 collection on Tuesday in Toronto, Canada. Collection which consists of 70 pieces, is a late 1930’s inspired line drawn from old college football documentaries. The high end collection is featured at Barney's New York.
The Line includes tweeds, plus fours, pleat-fronted trousers, cardigans with bold lettering, flat caps and braces. The rap star says he sketched the entire line himself and has visited Italian clothing factories and textile fairs in Paris forinspiration
