Retired outfielder, 9 time Silver Slugger and 500 career home-run hitter Manny Ramirez is selling his Ritz-Carlton penthouse in Boston.
The 4500 sq-ft house is on the 37th floor and has 4 bedrooms, 5.5 bathrooms, a study, 3 valet parking spaces, & a private wrap around terrace that is over 800 sq-ft and has 270 degree panoramic views of the Back Bay, Charles River, Public Garden, Beacon Hill and Boston Harbor. The Master-Suite alone includes a private study and 2 bathrooms.
As a resident living in the Ritz Carlton you experience daily luxury services including concierge, doormen, the hotel, Sports Club LA & Spa, and 24 hour room service from the 5 Star Ritz Carlton Hotel.
Ramirez purchased the 37th floor penthouse back in 2001 for $5.8M. In 2005 he decided to try and sell it, although later decided to keep the Boston home since it wasn’t selling. He put it on the market again in 2009 for $8.5M and has since reduced it to $7.9M.
During Ramirez’s career his 21 grand slams are third all-time, and his 28 post-season home runs are the most by any player in MLB history.
