Major league baseball player Derrek Lee has had a move-filled year. He was a two-time All-Star with the Chicago Cubs but was traded first to the Atlanta Braves and later to the Baltimore Orioles before finally winding up with the Pittsburgh Pirates. The Chicago Tribune reports that Lee has finally decided to officially leave Chicago behind, putting his three-bedroom condo on the market for $1.275 million.
The building on Chicago’s Gold Coast was built in 2003. Lee and his wife bought the eight-room unit in 2004 from the developer for $787,500 through a bank trust.
The 12th floor unit has a master suite with custom closets and a spa tub.
There are a total of three terrace with city views.
The home is 3,300 square feet with a family room, living room and dining room.
The home features a large chef’s kitchen with hardwood floors.
