The Skinny: This Hacienda-style house might look like something out of the Spanish countryside, but it actually sits next to the Vice President's mansion on the grounds of the Naval Observatory in Washington, D.C. The $7M mansion hit the market back in April—when our colleagues at Curbed DC took a look—with just a few pictures of the innards, but it has since opened up about its wonky interiors. Now the listing photos include shots of a stub of tile roof tucked into the catering kitchen, an uninspired media room, and some strange banquettes in the living room. Strange indeed, but, to be fair, this is the first time the stucco spread has been on the market in 50 years.

R&B singer-songwriter Lyfe Jennings etched out his place in music not long after a ten year prison sentence in his home state of Ohio. Lyfe Jennings released his debut album, Lyfe 268-192, in 2004 which has sold over a million copies. The album's third track "Must Be Nice" reached #40 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #5 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop songs. Lyfe's continued successes allowed him to relocate to Georgia where he purchased a 7,400 square foot Mediterranean style home in Marietta in June of 2007. Lyfe paid $1.3 million for the home which includes five bedrooms, five full bathrooms and one half, three fireplaces, elevator, movie theater, and a custom swimming pool and spa.

Lyfe Jennings also owns a home in Atlanta which he purchased in May of 2008 for $495,000. The home has three bedrooms, four full bathrooms and one half, two fireplaces, and 3,376 square feet.

Conrad purchased the mansion in 2008 for $2.36 million and since then it has been completely renovated.

Depp's Venetian Palazzo?

Johnny Depp fell in love with Venice while filming there and has reportedly bought a real Venetian palace, Palazzo Donà Sangiantoffetti, claims Daily Mail. Beautiful and so romantic, although in dire need of restoration. It cames with a grand price tag of nearly $14 million plus the restoration and interiors...so not everyone's cup of tea this one.

Although rather modest from the outside compared to other grand palazzos of Venice, this one still has high vaulted ceiling and other ornamental features inside and would certainly love to see feature once completed.

Fabulous Hamptons of Christie Brinkley

I missed the Oprah show on where former supermodel Christie Brinkley was showing her Hamptons estate, so I was happy to see this little feature on Daily Mail Online (read full article here). Brinkley has decorated the house herself - it shows a lot of character and reflects her personality and style. She does a lot of shell artwork, sculpting and painting and incorporates her art into the house's design.
